5th Wheel Installation Kit and Hitch Options for 1997 Ford F-250 with 8-Foot Bed

HI, can you help me out? I need an installation kit with rails for a Draw Tight 18k Signature series 5th wheel hitch. Going on a 1997 f250 HD 8foot bed.

If you have a 5th wheel hitch that installs in industry-standard above-bed base rails then you can use Reese Universal Base Rail Kit # RP30035 in your 1997 Ford F-250 long bed pickup.

If you have a hitch that mounts like the B&W Companion 5th Wheel Slider # BWRVK3370 that is meant to install in an under-bed rail kit (with four pucks in the bed) then you cannot install this hitch in your truck because no under-bed rail kit is offered for your 1997 F-250.
