Distance from hitch Pin Hole Center to Ball Hole Center on Ball Mount # AMSC10
Question:
Im interested in this ball mount, but need the distance from the hitch pin to the ball mount. Also, how far will it come out from the hitch before it starts to rise/? I am trying to find a combination that will work with our 2008 dodge caravan. It looks like the Draw-Tite 75579 is the best fit, but it sits about 5 back from the edge of the bumper and I have to get a ball up to 20 without hitting the bumper since that is the height necessary for the trailer we will be using. Please advise Thanks

I went out to the warehouse and pulled a Cushioned Ball Mount, # AMSC10, to measure. From the center of the hitch pin hole to the center of the ball hole measures 11-1/2 inches. I have included a link to our FAQ article on choosing the correct ball mount for you to view.
The Draw-Tite Trailer Hitch, # 75579, is the most popular model for a 2008 Dodge Grand Caravan. I have included a link to the installation details and a link to a video showing a typical installation for you to view. For trailer wiring, use T-One Vehicle Wiring Harness with 4 Pole Trailer Connector, # 118552. I have included instructions and video links for the wiring as well.
