You are doing right by keeping your trailer tires inflated to their full cold tire pressure, the maximum PSI rating shown on their sidewalls. Trailer tires should always be inflated to this maximum cold pressure.
Tire issues like flat spots and uneven tread wear usually come from specific causes like locking up the wheels and from either under- or over-inflation.
A tire that is under-inflated tends to wear more at the outside edges of the tread surface while a tire that is over-inflated typically shows more wear at the center of the tread. A mis-aligned suspension, bent axle or uneven loading can also cause uneven tire wear. If a tire has to carry more weight than it is rated to handle this too can lead to wear issues.
Switching to a higher load range tire, such as the Load Range E # AM10303 from Kenda, may be your best remedy. A load range E tire will handle more weight and will run cooler than a D-rated tire.
For the most peace of mind you might consider Westlake E-rated tire # LHWL304 which includes roadside assistance for 2 years. Flat tire change service is available 24/7 anywhere in the United States, Canada, or Puerto Rico. This tire is rated for up to 75-mph.
