Recommended Hitch Height for Curt 5th Wheel Hitch with Ram Towing Package Rails for 2017 Ram 3500

Question:

I have a 2017 Dodge Ram 3500 diesel 8foot bed,my question is I do not have a RV to actually do the measurements for the right 5th wheel height so since I don’t have a Rv what is your suggesting on what I should do or which holes should I actually set my 5th wheel up on.

The Curt A25 5th Wheel Trailer Hitch for Ram Towing Prep Package - Dual Jaw - 25,000 lbs # C16046 has the ability to adjust from 14 to 18 inches. Since you do not yet have your RV, I recommend setting the height to the 17 inch location because this is what many users will end up with based on the bed height. I can't confirm that it will be the correct height for the pin box that you end up getting on your RV, but it likely that you won't need to adjust it for most pin boxes with your 2017 Ram 3500.
