Question:
Hi, I have a 1986 Chevy scottsdale. It just has 4 wire trailer plug on the back of the truck. I have a prodigy P2 brake controller. I want to add that and a 7 wire trailer plug on truck. What do I need?

You would need to convert the 4-way to a 7-way so that you can install the brake controller. For that you will want the Brake Controller Install Kit and 7-Way Adapter part # ETBC7. I attached installation instructions and an install video for this product as well.
This kit comes with everything needed to convert the 4-way to a 7-way plus wire in the brake controller.
