Each roof rack for your 2017 Infiniti QX80 will have its own specific crossbar spread that works best with your QX80. The range of crossbar spreads from the roof racks that we carry are from 45" to 47" from the middle of the front to the middle of the back crossbar.

If you don't already have a roof rack on your QX80 I highly recommend going with the Thule WingBar Evo system. This option consists of the 60" WingBar Evo Crossbars, part # TH711500 for Silver or part # TH711520 for Black, as well as the Evo Raised Rail Feet # TH710401.

You can add 4 lock cores, part # TH450400, to lock your roof rack and help deter theft of your roof rack.

The great thing about this roof rack is that it is quieter than other round or square roof rack options, plus it allows you to carry accessories in the T-Slot. This roof rack has a weight capacity of 165 lbs (you will want to check your owner's manual for the capacity of the roof on your QX80) and requires a spread of 46".

I have attached a review video on the Areo bars for you to check out.

What if my 2017 QX80 has factory raised rails and crossbars? How can I increase the carrying weight from 100 lbs?

If the owner's manual for your QX80 lists a roof capacity of 100 pounds, you'll need to adhere to this limit even if you decided to replace the factory bars with aftermarket units. I wish I could give you better news but some roofs are just made (or at least tested to) lower limits than others.
