Installing a Rhino Rack Vortex Aero Kit onto a 2016 Mercedes-Benz Metris

Hi, The bases for tracks do not fit my vehicle. My vehicle is 2016 Mercedes Metris without rails. Roof mounting holes are 3 1/2” apart, rhino bases have holes 2 3/4” apart. See attached picture. Please let me know if you have correct bases for my vehicle.

The QM6 Fit Kit, part # RRQMFK06 is the correct fit kit for your vehicle, however it's not illustrated very well in the documentation that comes in its packaging. I've summarized the installation process for this kit, which should be found with the individual bars or foot pack for this kit.

When you go to install your roof rack, going from the front of the vehicle, the 1st, 3rd and 5th plugs, depending on where you want the roof rack to be on the vehicle.

Prior to fitting the fit kit and foot pack onto your vehicle, you'll cut through the center of the diamonds on the strip to create two end caps that will fit to the outside of your foot pack. You'll discard the center piece, then install the foot pack using the center hole of the foot pack to bolt into the exposed point on your roof.

You'll then follow the instructions to put the roof bars onto the towers, and clip them into the foot pack.

I've included a copy of the foot pack installation part of the instructions for this kit, as well as a diagram showing the cut locations to help you finish this installation.
