Is Kenda Trailer Tire and Wheel Combo # AM3H290 Rated for Highway Travel

Hi I bought two trailer tires / wheels from you awhile back and I really like them a lot. AM3H290 Well, Ive had some concerned people ask me if these tires are rated and safe for highway travel. They suggested I get a thinner tire for road travel. I do go on the highway a lot. I dont know, can you tell me if I made the correct choice in choosing these wheels. I like doing business with you and plan on ordering more stuff soon. Thank you

I am glad that you like the Kenda Tire/Wheel Combo, # AM3H290. All of the trailer tires that we carry are rated for 65 miles per hour and safe for highway travel as long as you stay at or under 65, follow the weight capacity which is 935 pounds at 50 psi, and have the tire inflated to the max psi (50) for best performance and longest life.

Heat build up is the main enemy of the trailer tire. Trailer tires are made with a thicker sidewall to handle more vertical load. Overloading a trailer tire or under inflating it will cause excessive heat build up and can lead to tire failure.
