Does Draw Tite Hitch for 2017 Mazda CX-5 Have Tongue Capacity for Motorcycle Carrier
Question:
Hi there, Im interested in your Draw-Tite Class III Max Frame Receiver Hitch - 2017 Mazda CX-5. I just want to make sure, but I have a Motorcycle hitch carrier with a max weight of 500 lbs. The carrier itself weighs less than 100. My bike weighs 440 lbs. Will this product handle that, with no issues? Im sure the answer is simple, I just want to make absolutely sure. Thanks

The tongue weight capacity of the Draw Tite hitch part # 76138 that fits your 2017 Mazda CX-5 is 675 lbs. That means that the hitch by itself can easily handle the weight of your carrier and bike, but you have to check to make sure your vehicle is also rated high enough for this.
You'll need to check the owners manual for the towing capacities and be sure not to exceed this figure. Basically you have to make sure the vehicle and the trailer hitch both have the needed capacity and you'll be good.
