The owner's manual for your 2003 Chevy Silverado 1500 states that vehicle equipped with 275/55-20 tires cannot use tire chains because there’s not enough clearance for them. However, I certainly understand certain states and conditions require the use of them therefore the choice on whether or not to use them will be ultimately up to you.

For a set of tire chains that will fit the 275/55-20 tires you have on your truck, the Titan Chain Alloy Snow Tire Chains part # TC2327 are a match. These tire chains have a link thickness of 3.7 mm which is one of the thinnest tire chains we have. The diamond shaped pattern provides excellent traction in both snow and ice. The color coded chains also help with installation.

I have attached a review video of the above tire chains for you as well.
