Converter for 2018 Freightliner With Separate Lights

Question:

I see where you guys recommended a converter #118158 for someone who had the opposite issue from me. Truck has separate turn signals and brake lights but my trailer has only 1 light for both. Would that same part work in my situation or is there a different solution to combine my signals into one light? 2018 Freightliner M2 Business Class (seperate turn and brake light signals) and the trailer is a 2018 Suretrack implement trailer (1 light on each side handles turn & brake signal).

The item that would work for you is the ZCI Circuit Protected Vehicle Wiring Harness with Install Kit # 119250KIT. This kit has a converter that will adapt the 3-wire system on your 2018 Freightliner to work with the 2-wire system on your trailer. You would then be able to use adapter # 30717, plug the 4-way in and wire the remainder of the 7-way.
