The Curt Trailer Hitch Receiver - Custom Fit - Class III - 2" # C13153 is a confirmed fit for your 2017 Hyundai Santa Fe SE model. I've attached a video of this installation for you.
If you will be using this trailer hitch receiver for towing, then I also recommend the Curt custom fit wiring harness # C56184. This custom-fit T-connector plugs into your Hyundai Santa Fe's wiring harness, which is located in your rear cargo area. You will have to remove the rear scuff panel and interior side panels to access this harness. Once you've plugged in the T-connector, run the hot lead up to your car battery. Connect the lead to the included fuse holder, and then connect the fuse holder to the positive terminal on your battery.
If you have the factory tow package, then use # C56332 instead. This custom-fit T-connector plugs into your Hyundai Santa Fe's factory tow package wiring harness, which is located behind the rear bumper, on the driver's side. Once you've plugged in the T-connector, insert the included 10-amp fuse into the integrated fuse holder.
For a ball mount, I recommend the B&W Tow & Stow 2-Ball Mount - 2" Hitch - 3" Drop, 3-1/2" Rise - 7.5K - Black, # BWTS10035B. This will give you a 2 inch and 1-7/8 inch hitch ball as well as give you adjustability to tow a trailer level by offering the 1 inch height adjustments between a 3 inch drop and 3-1/2 inch rise. This ball mount also offers the ability to hide the ball on the backside when not in use to give you a clean look and save your shins when loading cargo in the rear hatch. You may also want to consider a hitch lock like # e98882 to protect your investment.
