Recommended Front Suspension Enhancement for 2007 Chevy 2500 with Snow Plow
Question:
I am looking at the Timbren front suspension bushings vs the sumo springs Helper Springs Kit. I use a heavy snowplow in the winter and I get about a 1 to 1.5inch drop when I lift. What one would be better?2007 Chevy 2500

Expert Reply:
For your heavy snowplow, I recommend the Timbren Front Suspension Enhancement System # TGMFK25S over the SumoSprings Solo Custom Helper Springs - Front Axle # SSF-201-47. The Timbren Aeon Rubber springs are simply rated for weights 7x larger and they work in the same way as the helper springs, yet offer more support on the front end, so that first inch gets more support and you don't feel the drop when raising your snow blade.
