Using a Yakima EasyTop on a 2016 Mazda CX-5
Question:
Permanent roof rack too expensive looking at Yakima easy top is there noise inside the vehicle from straps vibrating and will straps damage or prevent power winds from closing?

The Yakima EasyTop, part # Y07418, is going to be tightened down to the roof, and there should be no noise caused by the straps inside the vehicle. With proper installation, there should be minimal noise from the straps.
When installed, the roof rack will not interfere with the power windows on your vehicle, and will run inside the door jamb, away from the windows.
