Hitch Extender Options for 2016 Chevy Silverado 2500HD with 2-1/2 inch Hitch
Question:
I have a 2016 Chevy 2500 HD with the 6 1/2 foot bed. I want to extend the 2 1/2 inch receiver so that I can tow my travel trailer with the tailgate down. Do you have something you would recommend?

Expert Reply:
We have hitch extenders like the part # HR26 which will extend a 2-1/2 inch hitch 7 inches and will reduce it down to a 2 inch hitch.
The next size longer than that would be the # C45048 which is good for between 24 to 34 inches. It basically shows up as 34 inches and allows you to trim it down to 24 inches if needed.
