Replacement Wiring Connector and Bracket for 2008 Ford F-150
Question:
I have a 2008 F150 crew that already has a hitch. The wiring connector is missing. The wiring bracket is present and the dimensions of bracket match your item HM40975. I need the harness wiring as well. I believe your item HM40975-11998 will fit. But this is not a confirmed fit for my truck. Do you have an alternate product available? Thanks

Expert Reply:
Connector Socket and Bracket # HM40975-11998 has a pigtail harness which hard wires into your vehicle and connects to your 7-way socket; this is not normally necessary for a truck with a factory 7-way which is why it is not a confirmed fit for a 2008 Ford F-150 with factory 7-way. If you needed to hard wire a harness you would be able to use this part. Alternatively, if you simply needed new connectors you could use a plug-in option, the T-Connector Vehicle Wiring Harness for Factory Tow Package - 7-Way and 4-Pole Flat Connectors # C55774 which is a confirmed fit for your 2008 Ford F-150.
I've added links to video reviews and installs of these products for you to take a look at.
