Distance from Center of Hitch Pin Hole to Tab in Shank on Draw-Tite Class I Trailer Hitch # 24907
Question:
I have used my draw-bar on several vehicles with different hitch receivers. My receiver has a distance of 2” from the center of the hitch pin hole to the end that goes into the receiver. Will it fit? Your first product image for the Draw-Tite Sportframe Trailer Hitch Receiver - Custom Fit - Class I - 1-1/4Item # 24907 shows that there is a TAB that restricts the user to only Class I accessories. “Tab only allows use of Class 1 accessories” It depicts a beautiful red bracket indicating some ? distance between the center of the hole for the hitch pin and the Tab, but fails to include the specific restricting distance. Please specify the distance? Thank you.

Helpful Expert Reply:
Draw-Tite is actually going to stop including that tab on Class I hitches like # 24907. But on the ones that still have it the distance from the center of the pin hole to the tab is 1-7/8 inches so your ball mount will not fit. The recommended ball mount for this hitch is # 3593 and it includes a pin and clip. I have linked a video review of it for you.
