Swagman XTC4 on a 2015 Highlander with OEM/Factory Trailer Hitch Receiver

Question:

Looking to get a tray-style hitch bike rack that can hold four. I read the OEM hitch on my car is 1.25 inch from center of locking pin to end of the receiver opening. Im looking at the Swagman XTC4 Item # S64665, would that have any issues? If there are an issues, can you recommend an alternative. Thanks

You are right about the 2015 Toytoa Highlander having a slightly shorter hitch. In most cases though, this isn't a problem. You'll want to see if you can find out the depth of the hitch, as this sometimes can cause more problems with the bike rack, as the shank or stinger can reach internals of the vehicle and cause damage.

For the Swagman XTC4, part # S64665, you shouldn't have any trouble installing it onto the OEM hitch on your 2015 Toytoat Highlander. I've included a video of our team installing it onto a 2008 Toyota Highlander so you can get an idea of what it looks like on the vehicle.
