Fit of a Roof Mounted Top Rack System on a 2013 Ram 3500

I saw this reply, form one of your experts, and was wondering why when I go to the part listing, it states that its not compatible. The Thule Roof Mounted Top Rack System # THTP54 that you referenced could be installed on the roof of your truck. The track is 54 inches long though so at worst you might need to trim track to get it to fit. This product installs by drilling into the roof of the vehicle drill bit included, and uses flare nuts to secure the track to the roof. You will need the fit kit part # THKIT3101, for square bars you would want the foot pack part # TH460R and then for 60 inch square bars you would want the # TH712500. I want to install this on my 2013 Ram 3500

We don't always list fit information for track kits because of the varying applications of them on trailers, camper shells and actual vehicles. This is because of the numerous variations of these vehicles and the fits that would need to be listed out for each individual vehicle.

In this case, your 2013 Ram 3500 would be able to have the Thule Roof Mounted Top Rack, part # THTP54 installed on the cab's roof by drilling into the vehicle. However, the vehicle is also capable of having clamp on kits added to it, which may be the better solution in terms of ease of use and installation.

If you're concerned about the length of the tracks, there is a 42 inch track as part # THTP42

You would then use the following kit on these rails to add a rail roof kit to your cab:

Thule Podium Foot Pack, part # TH460R
Thule Podium Fit Kit for Rails, part # THKIT3101

I recommend adding part # TH450400 to add locks to your foot packs and improve their security.
