Fifth Wheel Hitch Recommendation for 2015 Ram with Factory Rail Kit and Short Bed

Question:

I have a 2015 Dodge Ram with the tow package for a 5th wheel camper. It has the puck system. It is a crew cab with the middle size bed — not short or long. The trailer I am looking to buy is 12000 pounds towing weight, 32 feet long and the hitch weight is around 1660lbs. Can you tell me what kind of hitch i should get for my bed?

For your 2015 Ram short bed with the hitch prep package I would recommend going with the B and W Companion Slider hitch part # BWRVK3670 which will fit your rail kit without the use of an adapter and will allow you turning clearance since it can slide back when you need to make a tight turn.
