Could Stromberg Carlson Trailer Tray Cargo Carrier # CC-255 Fit Generac 8000
Question:
can this mount work for my generator? It appears to be too narrow? Does it come with a little deeper shelve?

Expert Reply:
The shelf portion of the Stromberg Carlson Trailer Tray Cargo Carrier # CC-255 that you referenced measures 20 inches by 32 inches. The dimensions I was able to find for your Generac 8000 are 28 inches in length and 25.5 inches in width. What you can do is install the tray of this upside down so that it does not have ledges and the width of your generator could overhang.
You'd have to really secure the generator though since the tires would overhang. We have the part # E01418 which is 4 ratchet straps that as long as you used all 4 you'd be good.
