Adding Clearance or Running Lights to 1987 Chevy 1 Ton Dually Flat Bed
Question:
Hello, I would like to know where to directly wire my flat bed lights on a 1987 Chevy 1 ton Dually. I have lights already Ran although dont know exactly where to attach wire so that when running lights or parking lights are activated the lights on the flatbed will show. I have lights ran directly to positive battery output. Thank you if you capfuls assist in this matter.

You can run your wires directly from your battery using a switch like # PL-SW28B if you desire, or you can simply splice into your vehicle running light circuit. I recommend using a circuit tester like # PTW2993 to find a wire that has power to your tail lights or near your fuse box when vehicle is on ACC or running. You can use a quick splice like # SWC501925-1 to tap into that power easily. This will automatically turn the clearance lights on and off with your running lights.
