Are Fifth Wheel Hitches Interchangeable on 2018 Ram 3500?
Question:
I have a Curt E16 hitch I am not happy with. I am considering upgrading to a Reese 30866 which is compatible with my Reese Elite Airborne Sidewinder. Are the leg pins standard? In other words, Can I just drop the new hitch into the rails as they are or do the rails have to be moved spread or brought closer together. Thanks

Expert Reply:
Though the Reese Titan 16 you referenced is no longer available, the Reese Select # RP30928 is a great option, and you could take out the Curt hitch you are unhappy with and install the Reese so long as the base rails in your 2018 Ram 3500 are industry-standard rails from Curt, Draw-Tite, Hidden Hitch, Pro Series, Reese or Valley.
