Replacement Leaf Springs and Shock Kit for Trailer with Two 3500 Pound Axles

Question:

I have a 2013 Evergreen I-GO G236RBK that has broken the two front springs. I am having trouble identifying what length they are and what load rating they are so I can purchase replacements. As the axles are rated at 3500lb each I am assuming the load rating to be 1750lb for each spring. I measured the rear spring on the rear of the trailer and the compressed length is 25.6as the springs are still on the trailer these lengths could be distorted due to the uneven distribution of weight from the broken springs and they have 4 x 5/16 leaves. The only number on the suspension I could find was on the axle which was LCI35-SB-80.5-65-NOSP-OS-l-545-7242-18-PT. I am looking to replace all 4 springs and fit shock absorbers. Thanks

Based on the measurements and description you have provided you will need leaf spring # e54SR. This spring measures 25-1/8 inches long from the center of one eye to the center of the other eye. None of the other double-eye springs for 3500 pound axles have close enough measurements even if the weight had been off of the springs when you measured. I have included a link to a video showing an example installation of this spring for you.

For shocks you can use set # LC281255 (one set needed per axle). These are designed to fit trailers with 2-3/8 inch diameter round axles which is what a 3500 pound beam axle would be. I have included a link to a video review of this shock kit as well.
