Options to Have 4-Way After Ford Trailer Wiring 7-Way part # 118242 is Installed  

Question:

With this harness installed to add the 7 way connector does it leave the 4 flat factory connector operational or does it bypass it? Thanx

If you install the part # 118242 you will be replacing the 4-way of your vehicle with a 7-way. One option would be to replace the 7-way socket that comes with this kit with the part # 74682 which will give you both a 4-way and a 7-way at the rear of your truck.

Or you can use the # 118242 and use the part # PK12716 whenever you need the 4-way. This will plug into the 4-way and gives you a 4-way.
