The fit of specific bike racks on a vehicle is determined by the rack maker based on evaluation and testing of the vehicle. In the case of Thule, they confirmed that their 2-bike OutWay rack # TH45JV is a fit for the Civic sedan as long as it is not an SI. They also decided that the higher weight of the larger 3-bike version would be too much for the car's thin sheet metal. There could be a risk of denting or dimpling the metal. That said, the 3-bike # TH56BV rack will mount properly on the car but the rack and bikes are heavier and it could damage your car.
Thule happens to be very cautious about this consideration.

Other bike rack makers do consider their 3-bike carriers to be suitable for the 2017 Civic and those are shown on the linked page. Just choose your car style (2-door coupe or 4-door sedan, and Si version or not) using the Select Vehicle Style drop-down menu at the top of the page. You will then see all trunk-mount racks confirmed for your car.

The Saris Bones carriers are available in basic black # SA801BL and also in a range of colors, all shown on the linked page.

If you are unsure about your selection please tell me if you have the 2-door or 4-door and whether or not it has a trunk or roofline spoiler.
