Trailer Wiring Recommendation for 2016 GMC Canyon with Round Connector Under Bumper

Good morning. I have a 2016 GMC Canyon. I just received and my brother installed the hitch for under the bumper. I need to get the wiring for it and am unsure on what exactly to get. Can you help? What is existing is a cluster of the single wires which all have a rubber end piece on them.

Do the wires you mentioned all terminate into a round connector like what is in the picture I attached? Typically this is the trailer wiring connector that is found on the 2016 GMC Canyons like yours.

If that's what you have then the correct trailer wiring connector you need is the part # HM40975. This will give you a 4-way and a 7-way which are the two most popular trailer connector sizes.
