The rack system for just carrying the Canoe is easy to assemble for your 2015 Honda Accord.
Since it sounds like you aren't looking to carry any other things with your roof rack, you'll want to go with a simple square bar kit, as the carrier itself will do most of the heavy lifting.
Prior to installing the roof rack, you'll want to verify your roof capacity with your owner's manual ro manufacturer so that you're not overloading the roof. Your capacity will have to accommodate the canoe, the carrier and the roof rack system.
I recommend Rhino Rack's Aero Crossbar kit, consisting of:
Part # RRVA137B-2
Part # RRRLKVA
Part # DK359
This gives you an easy to install and easy to remove when not in use kit for carrying your Canoe.
For an actual carrier, gunwale brackets are likely the best pick for you, since they install quickly and easily, and aren't terribly heavy, leaving your roof capacity for your canoe.
The Thule Portage carrier, part # TH819 is one of the best kits because of its adjustable brackets and included tie-downs that include easy to use pulley bow and stern tie downs. They also have lower, curved sides, making loading and unloading easier because you aren't having to heft the canoe up and over the sides of the carrier.
I recommend adding a set of Malone Quick-Lashes, part # MPG308 to make the tiedown process even easier. These will add a set of reinforced nylon loops to your hood and trunk, letting you attach to these points rather than the vehicle itself, avoiding the hook of the tiedown scraping against the finish of the vehicle.
