Troubleshooting Fan Motor Changing Speeds on Ventline Bathroom Fan and Replacement Recommendation
Question:
My ventline fan in bathroom. 6.6 inches I think. Sometimes wont turn on if it comes on it runs at half speed. Should I replace the switch or the fan.

The switch would not effect the speed of the fan. It sounds like your motor is either getting inconsistent power or the motor itself is failing. You can test the current using a multimeter like # PT89ZR. A bad ground may be at fault or you may need to trace the wiring to find the issue if this is the case.
If the motor is failing, I recommend replacing the unit with the MaxxAir Mini Deluxe Trailer Roof Vent w/ 12V Fan # MA00-03801. This fan is well made and will last.
