Fifth Wheel Rail Kit Adapter Recommendation for 2017 Chevy 3500HD Long Bed for Reese Titan Hitch

Experts, I just purchased a 2017 Chevy 3500HD Duramax with the long box and Factory 5th wheel prep package code z6a. Ive spoken with your sales, technical from Reese, Demco and Curt. The consensus is that there is a puck spread measurement difference between the short box and long box Silverados. Demco states the 6206 is made for the long box and the 6194 is for the short box only. At another site I see the 6194 has puck to puck measurements of 22inch x 27 ctc. This is the ctc measurement on my long box. Ive got a Reese R20 I purchased from you three years ago and am not willing to give it up for the CURT direct bolt in. After talking to a number of manufacturer tech folks and a Chevy parts dept guy who just didnt have an answer, Im at wits end. Etrailer doesnt carry the DM6206, and honestly , youre the only group Ive used with confidence. Show me the light please before I begin to hate my new truck. Thanks in advance, GP

Actually we do carry the Demco adapter part # DM6206 which is the correct fitting adapter for the factory rail kit of your 2017 Chevy Silverado 3500 long bed. The part # DM6194 is the adapter for the short bed trucks.

This is also compatible with your Reese R20/Titan 20k part # RP30867.
