Tow Bar Compatibility with Roadmaster EZ5 Base Plates

is the EZ5 base plate compatible with the Tracker tow bar? Am i able to use the Tracker tow bar without a crossbar in this set up? I am planning to tow a 2017 Jeep Wrangler Sahara

The Roadmaster Tracker Tow Bar - 2" Ball - 5,000 lbs # RM-020 is not compatible with the EZ5 Base Plate # RM-521448-5. The Roadmaster EZ5 series base plates will only work with Roadmaster tow bars that slide into a trailer hitch and will not work with tow bars that require a hitch ball. For a compatible tow bar, I recommend the Roadmaster Falcon 2 Tow Bar - Motorhome Mount - 2" Hitch - 6,000 lbs # RM-520 which would not require the crossbar for this combination.
To use the Tracker Tow Bar with your 2017 Jeep Wrangler Sahara, you would need to use the Roadmaster EZ4 Base Plate Kit - Removable Arms # RM-521448-4 instead. These are compatible but will require the Roadmaster Base Plate to Tow Ready Towbar Adapter and Replacement Crossbar for Tracker Towbar # RM-025.
