For your 2003 Chevy Silverado 3500 there are 2 TorkLift Super hitches available and they only fit long bed versions of the truck. First is the SuperHitch Magnum # TLC1205-30. And second is the SuperHitch Original # TLC1205. The biggest difference between these 2 is capacity.
The Magnum is rated for 20,000 pounds gross trailer weight and 2,500 pounds tongue weight. When used with weight distribution it is rated for 30,000 pounds gross trailer weight and 3,000 pounds tongue weight. Capacities will decrease when using the SuperTruss extensions.
The Original is rated for 17,000 pounds gross trailer weight and 1,700 pounds tongue weight. When used with weight distribution it is rated for 20,000 pounds gross trailer weight and 2,000 pounds tongue weight. Again capacities will decrease when using the SuperTruss extensions.
The 42 inch long SuperTruss is # TLE1542. When used with either hitch listed above it is rated for 6,000 pounds gross trailer weight and 600 pounds tongue weight. When used with weight distribution it is rated for 12,000 pounds gross trailer weight and 1,200 pounds tongue weight. I have linked a video review of the SuperTruss for you.
