Fitting Thule WingBar Kits to a 2000 Volkswagen Passat

What are the measurements for the distance between the mounting feet for a thule wiingbar roof rack on a 2000 Volkswagen Passat I pretty much need to know the Gap measurements from door to door?

For the 2000 Volkswagen Passat sedan, you'll want to mount the feet the following distances apart on your 47 inch WingBar, part # TH711200 in silver or # TH711220 in black:

For the Front Bar: 38-5/8 inches apart (981mm)
For the Rear Bar: 38-3/8 inches apart (976mm)

If instead you have the Passat Wagon, you'll want to do the following:

1.) Mount the Evo Raised Rail Feet, part # TH710401 onto the roof rails
2.) Measure the distance from the tip where it would connect the crossbar of one footpack to the tip of the other footpack
3.) Remove the Footpack
4.) Place onto bar using the distance you just measured
5.) Use the centering strips to center the footpack
6.) Lock footpack into place and install on roof at same position.
7.) Repeat for rear crossbars
