The Prodigy RF Electric Brake Controller # TK94FR works with basically any vehicle that has a working 12 volt circuit on their 7-way. The 12 volt power of your 7-way is still ran to the trailer after the Prodigy so your breakaway battery will still receive power without any issue and you shouldn't have to worry about it. The LED lights won't be an issue either.

If the 7-way adapter you have already has a functioning 12 volt pin then you won't need anything else. If it isn't then use 10 gauge wire, part # 10-1-1 that's sold by the foot, to connect the pin in the 1 O'clock position on your 7-way to your truck's battery through a 40 amp circuit breaker, part # 9510.

No, a breakaway battery is only to be used to power a breakaway switch and not an electric brake controller like the Prodigy RF # TK94FR. The Prodigy RF is powered through the 7-way connector. Basically, it installs onto the trailer, then has a 7-way plug coming from it that plugs into the 7-way on the vehicle. It also has its own 7-way connector that the trailer plugs into on the other side. So instead of plugging the trailer's 7-way directly into your truck's it runs through the Prodigy RF. The circuit breaker for the wire coming from the truck's battery should be placed near the battery. That wire needs to power the pin in the 1 O'clock position of the 7-way connector when looking into it on the back of the truck. See the diagram I've attached. The other two wires aren't used by the Prodigy RF so they aren't needed to be connected. However, they're generally for the reverse light circuit and brake circuit that would come from a brake controller in the truck's cab. The Prodigy RF doesn't use the brake circuit from the truck.
