Installing Tekonsha Trailer Wiring Options for a 2015 Lexus RX 350

Question:

I just want to confirm that this part is for my vehicle: 2015 RX350 with no factory toe package. I have the factory wiring harness but need the power module to plug into wiring harness for vehicle. I have already installed a hitch and 4 pin pluged into factory harness... Also do I need to run a separate power cable to my battery, or just plug this unit into my empty factory plug?? Thank you

If you are talking about the Tekonsha T-One # 118255 for your 2015 Lexus RX 350 then no, you will not need to run a separate wire to the battery for power. This is a simple plug-in option that does not require any splicing.

If, however, you were talking about the Tekonsha ZCI # 119250KIT then yes, you will need to run the included Black wire up to the battery for power. I have attached a video of this process being done on a 2015 BMW X5 that you can use as a reference.
