Options for Tandem Axle Trailer to Raise Trailer 2 Inches without Flipping Axle
Question:
I have a tandem axle cargo trailer. The leaf spring is mounted below the axle. I want to raise the trailer 2-3 inches and do not want to mount the springs above the axles, that would be more lift than I want. Are there any hanger extensions or other options available?

You can cut off your hangers and weld taller ones in their place. There is not a hanger extension kit but there is one other option I know of that will raise your trailer by 2 inches. It is the Lippert Components Center Point by Trailair Air-Ride Suspension Upgrade - Tandem Axle # LC1565391. This air ride system is the only other way I know to directly lift your trailer 2 inches without using an over-under kit like # K71-385-00 for 3 inch axles or # K71-384-00 for 2-3/8 inch axles.
