Trailer Wiring Harness Recommendation for 2014 Dodge Journey

Question:

Curt T-Connector Vehicle Wiring Harness with 4-Pole Flat Trailer Connector Item # C56330 Is there a replacement power converter I can purchase without having to buy a complete wiring set? On two occasions the black box has blown as its designed due to towing a uhaul trailer. Of course they wont reimburse me the damage caused by their faulty wiring. Thanks in advance,

I wish there was but the only way to replace trailer wiring is with an entire new kit. Which now would be a great time to go with the # 118536 kit instead. The Tekonsha brand of trailer has been much more reliable for us than the Curt kits which are pretty easy to short out. Main reason is because the Tekonsha kits can higher a much higher amperage rating.
