Using a Bike Rack and Cargo Carrier on a 2014 Ford Explorer

I have a solution for you, but you can't use any accessories in the end of the shank of the ProSeries Cargo Carrier, part # 63153

Instead, I recommend purchasing the Hollywood Racks Sport Rider SE2 with Cargo Carrier, part # HR1450Z-85. This carrier is designed for use with a Class III hitch to carry two bikes and a cargo carrier rated for 100 pounds when used in combination with the bike rack. Used alone, the carrier can hold up to 220 pounds. This is a great, single purchase item and can even be upgraded to a 4-bike rack without the cargo carrier with part # HR1475Z. The full kit is available as part # HR1400Z-85
