Rear Muffler Hangers Hitting Hitch on 2017 Subaru Outback

Question:

I have a 2017 outback with dual exhaust. I cant get the rear muffler hangers back on. They hit the hitch frame. Any suggestions?

There are a couple things you can try if you are having trouble getting the muffler hangers back on your 2017 Subaru Outback with Draw-Tite # 75673. You can try bending the hanger using vice grips or a cheater bar to create more clearance, or replace the rubber isolator with a shorter one, which can be found at an auto parts store.
