If your 1997 Ford F-150 with 4.6L V8 engine has not been re-tuned through use of an aftermarket programmer then you do not need to do anything in order to switch from premium fuel to regular-grade fuel. The truck's computer will require some time to adjust to the new fuel but it will not have to be re-programmed.

Do please note that the item you referenced, Edge Insight CTS2 Comprehensive Gauge Display # EP84130, is NOT a tuner. This item is a monitor only and displays engine data taken from the OBD-II port. It does not alter the engine operation in any way.
