Comparing Curt Cargo Carrier C18109 and Pro Series Carrier 6502
Question:
This is phenomenal. I havent ordered before because of the discrepancies and prices and description. So now I wish there is the 3rd unit which combined the size of the Curt unit with the clearance of the pro unit . Thanks again .... much appreciated

No, these are 2 different brands. The Pro Series carrier is made by Cequent/Horizon Global and on it is # 6502. The other one, # C18109, is made by Curt manufacturing. The Curt model is also larger at 19 x 60 inches compared to 20 x 48 inches for # 6502. Both only fit 2 inch trailer hitches, both can fold up, and both have a 500 pound capacity.
Another key difference is that the Curt model has a straight shank and the Pro Series has a rise in the shank (if more ground clearance is needed). I have included links to video reviews on both of these carriers for you.
