No Drill Tailgate Lock Recommendation for 2017 Honda Ridgeline Pop & Lock that Uses Key FOB

Question:

Can I install the mechanism without drilling and using the key assembly? Ive got power locks and Im just looking for a way to lock the tailgate when the tonneau is in place. Im not big on the idea of drilling and putting holes in the steel tailgate, especially with all the salt they throw on the roads in the northeast. Thanks

The Pop & Lock Tailgate Power lock # PAL8600 that you referenced does not require drilling to install and is not designed for use with a key either. It's designed to be locked and unlocked with the key FOB of your 2017 Honda Ridgeline.
