Recommend RV Rated Bike Rack to Carry 4 Bikes on a Travel Trailer
Question:
I have been looking for a tow hitch frame mount 4-bike rack that would be able to mount on my travel trailer or car hitch. I would also like it to be as friendly as possible for multiple sizes of bikes for my family. All that I have seen have an icon that says No RVs. Can you please send me a list of your products that fit my requirements? Thank you for your time and energy!

Trailers and RV's have a lot more movement at the rear because the rear axle is much further away from the actual hitch. Therefore the bike rack will take on addition stress when compared to a standard passenger vehicle. I've linked our complete selection of 4-bike racks that are rated for you to use on your travel trailer.
I personally recommend the Yakima LongHaul # Y02476. Since it's a hanging rack it accommodates a wide variety of bikes. The exception being those that don't have a horizontal cross tube, like a traditional women's bike, but you can solve that problem by using an adapter bar like the Swagman # 64005. The LongHaul uses Yakima's ZipStrip straps to hold the bikes which I believe to be far superior to other styles. It also includes locks for the bikes and the rack.
A more economical option is the Swagman Semi 4.0 Bike Rack for 4 Bikes - 2" Hitches - Wheel Mount
Item # S64698-99. The Semi 4.0 is a platform rack that attaches by the wheels. This allows it to carry a wide range of bikes and there's no need for an adapter bar. It does not include any locks so you may want the anti-rattle hitch lock # 63232 and a cable lock # e98891 for security.
Both racks fit a 2 inch, Class III trailer hitch receiver. I've attached videos on each product for you to take a look at as well.
