Brake Controller Recommendation for Trailer with 4 Brake Axles
Question:
I have a primus IQ brake controller but I now have 4 axels and the primus states it is for 1-3. Do I need a new unit?

If all 4 of your axles have brakes on them then yes it's time for a new brake controller since the Primus IQ # TK90160 is only good for up to 3 brake axles. If one of the axles is an idler axle though you'd be fine.
The p3 part # 90195 would be the controller to get though if you do need to upgrade. It can handle up to 4 brake axles and is basically the best controller around so it would be perfect for you.
