Does Plastic Trunk Cover Have to Come Off 2017 Toyota Corolla to Install Trailer Hitch
Question:
watching the install video for a 2017 Toyota corolla. it shows that you must remove the plastic cover covering the trunk. further along on the video showing the install, it show the plastic cover still in place. not sure why it has to be removed. thanks.

In the install instructions for the Curt hitch part # C11265 there is no mention of removing the plastic trunk cover that you mentioned. It doesn't have to come off and can be left on like normal with the hitch installed. Our installer must have pulled it off to make filming the install easier.
