Recommendation for Connecting Vehicle with 7-Way to Trailer with 6-Way Connector
Question:
truck has 7 pin im going down to a 6 pin on trailer is there a wire diagram for wiring 6 pin trailer and truck is 7 pin dont have truck here

To connect your truck's 7-Way to your trailer's 6-Way connector, I simply recommend using the Hopkins Universal Adapter # 47549. This adapter will plug right into your truck's 7-Way connector to provide a 6-Way to fit your trailer's existing connector. Note that the center pin on this adapter is set up as the hot lead but it can easily be changed if your trailer's center pin is wired for the brakes.
