I do have a roof rack that will work for you but we currently do not have a ladder rack available for your 2004 Chevy Astro at this time. For an aluminium roof rack that will allow you to carry an aluminum ladder on the roof of your Astro, I recommend the Malone AirFlow2 Roof Rack part # MPG216. As long as your Chevy Astro has factory raised side rails and your ladder does not exceed 165 lbs then these crossbars will work well for you.
The crossbars will not require you to drill or bolt any hardware through the roof your vehicle. They are designed to simply attach to the factory side rails for a secure and snug fit. I have also attached a list of all the aluminum roof racks we have confirmed to fit your Astro for you.
