Would XL Anti-Rattle Trailer Hitch Receiver Lock SHP2040-XL Fit 3 inch Hitch on 2012 Ford F-350
Question:
I have a 2012 Ford F350. It has a 3 inch hitch receiver. The receiver has an inner sleeve to make it a 2 inch, but the outside dimension is 3 inch. Will this lock work with my truck? The new Fords no longer have this feature and I am not sure how many years they did it.

For a 3 inch trailer hitch the hitch lock needs to have a 3-1/2 inch usable span like what the part # SHP2040-XL has so for your 3 inch hitch with a 2 inch hitch adapter this would fit and work well.
