Replacement Brake Assembly Recommendation for Dexter 23-479
Question:
I have a 2014 Rockwood Windjammer 3008. One brake locked up on the right side. I pulled the wheel and hub to find that the shoes were worn. The part number on the backing plate is 23-479-00. I would like to build the brakes myself. My question is can you help me with part numbers for the shoes and magnets? Thanks

The assembly you have is our part # K23-479-00. For shoes you'd want the part # K71-699-00.
We don't have the magnets for those hubs though. But if the assembly is bad enough to need shoes and magnets you are better off just replacing the whole thing. The price is about the same and you'll end up with new everything and the install will be much easier.
