Question:
Am purchasing C18150 cargo carrier and will be using 18 gal tubs with locking tops. What would be best way to secure these. There are no anchor points on the tubs. Thanks

The best way to secure your tubs on the 20x60 Curt Cargo Carrier # C18150 would be to use some Ratchet Tie-Down Straps like the CargoBuckle # IMF12636. Ratchet tie-downs are a little more secure than Bungee Cords but many use Bungee Cords. If you go with Bungee Cords, I suggest an assortment. I would recommend beginning with 4-6 each of # EM06664 19" and # EM06656 24", along with 2-3 each of the lengths such as # EM06658 36" and/or # EM06668 42". Bungees would be able to keep the tubs in the carrier, but ratchet straps can be tightened enough that the tubs will not move.
To help reduce play in the hitch receiver I also recommend using the Anti-Rattle Trailer Hitch Receiver Lock # 63232. The spring and spacer sit inside of the hollow shank of the carrier and reduce any movement while the lock will help to deter theft of your carrier.
I have attached some review videos that you can check out.
